The federal government allows a tax rebate on gasoline for people with disabilities, provided the applicant is not able to use public transportation. Form “XE8”is available by contacting a number below. The rebate currently stands at about 1.5 cents a litre. Receipts are required upon request, and there is a two-year time limit for refunds.
