British Columbia residents with a disability may camp free of charge in BC Parks if they qualify for a disabled access pass. Passholders may access the Discover Camping reservation service to reserve ahead in several campgrounds by calling: 1-800-689-9025. The camping fee will be waived when they provide a Disabled Access Pass number, however, they will be charged the applicable reservation fee. The pass is issued to individuals who meet specific criteria. An application form is available at District Park offices or by writing to or phoning BC Parks in Victoria. With the access pass and an increasing number of wheelchair accessible facilities, BC Parks is dedicated to ensuring that all persons with disabilities can enjoy parks.
