There are 38 Neighbourhood Houses in BC working to improve the quality of family and neighbourhood life through social interaction. A wide range of services and programs for children, youth, families and seniors are provided by the houses. These include out-of-school daycare and enrichment programs for children, job training for youth, social programs for families and seniors, and special assistance services for the elderly, people with disabilities, new immigrants, and the culturally and socially disadvantaged.
