This program provides 10 weeks of free pre-employment training, guided job finding, and on-the-job support to men and women over the age of 17 who have experienced exceptional difficulty in finding employment. Applicants must be out of school for at least one year and be unemployed. The course includes resume writing, interview skills, career counselling, job search techniques, fitness, and life skills. It also offers an individualized, skill-specific computerized training program for clients who have completed the 10-week pre-employment training. Information sessions are held on Wednesday afternoons.
