527-JOBS is a specialized employment service designed to assist Douglas College students and graduates with a disability. 527-JOBS will assist individuals with their job search and placement. Services are flexible in order to meet the needs of each client. Programs for Adults with Disabilities

A variety of programs, services and courses of study are offered for students with disabilities, including career exploration and planning; job maintenance and job preparation. New Directions is a college preparation program for adults with a head injury. The Consumer and Job Preparation for Adults with Special Needs and Basic Occupational Education cover Food Services, Electronic Assembly, and Micrographic Services. The Career and Employment Preparation program is designed to assist people with disabilities to explore their career options. Call for more information about these programs.
