The CNIB offers comprehensive vocational counselling and employment services for people with visual impairments throughout BC. Career Counsellors can assist individuals with career identification and planning, locating appropriate funding sources for education, training and adaptive equipment, job search assistance, job adaptations, technical aid information and follow-up services. In the Lower Mainland, Job Developers are available to work specifically on job search issues. Various offices throughout BC may offer group workshops covering topics such as creative job search techniques, resume preparation and interviewing skills.
