This program provides health related supports for children with severe disabilities being cared for by their parents at home and helps to relieve the financial burden placed on families who care for children with disabilities at home. This is a joint program, with Ministry for Children and Families responsible for assessment and eligibility, and the Ministry of Social Services administering the program. Check your local blue pages under Government of BC, Social Services, Ministry of, for a Services to People with Mental Handicaps office in your area.

Child Development and Rehabilitation Services
This section provides assessment, therapy departments and developmental programs for children birth to six years of age who have developmental disabilities which require habilitative services. This section assists non-profit community agencies to offer services including assessment, intervention, consultation, education and family support.
