This is a nonprofit society run by and for adults who are blind or visually impaired. It provides a computer loan bank and a 24-hour on-line bulletin board (BBS) called V.I.P.E.R. This text-based BBS has approximately 50 file areas and 50 message areas, including discussion groups for people with visual impairments and disability-related discussion groups. There are also software demonstration programs for people with visual impairments. Other services include free fax service, bulletins on community events, and a daily weather report.
