Volunteer Vancouver provides resource information and support services to non-profit organizations and volunteer programs throughout BC. The Centre interviews and refers people who are interested in volunteering in an appropriate position. Training and consultation services are available for strengthening Board of Directors and Managers of Volunteers.

The Resource Centre and Library provides information specifically related to voluntary action and management of nonprofit organizations. There are about 6,000 books, periodical articles reprints and audio-visual materials which are available for review or loan. The collection is catalogued on-line and the library database is also on the Internet. The Resource Centre has a Publication section that sells selected books representing some of the best resources on Volunteerism and Management of Nonprofit organizations.
