NELSON MUNICIPAL LIBRARY
602 Stanley Street
Nelson, BC V1L 1N4

All of the library's materials - including books, large print books, talking books, music cassettes and CDs, and videotapes - are available through an Outreach program. People with disabilities who can’t get to the library leave their name, address and phone number with the Outreach coordinator who will then arrange for a volunteer to gather material requests and deliver the items to the person’s home. The library provides a form which must be signed by a doctor before some talking books may be borrowed. Call or e-mail for details on availability of talking books. Check your community library for a similar service.
