The Audiobook Program of the Library Services Branch
provides service primarily to public libraries in British
Columbia who in turn give direct service to individuals with
a visual, physical or neural impairment. The Program produces
and donates copies of approximately 250 titles per year to
six collection centres throughout the province. For those
people living in smaller centres or living outside of an area
served by a public library, the program maintains a Loan
Collection from which it will supply audiobooks by mail. The
Program will request and supply titles through Inter-library
loan.
