The library will bring library materials to
any individual who is confined to a private residence or
residential facility for more than three months due to
illness or physical disability, provided they live in an area
serviced by the Greater Victoria Public Library. The patron
can receive regular or large print books, talking books or
cassette tapes. A medical certificate is required for the
talking books. An eligibility form is required for home
delivery service. Books are delivered by volunteers every
four weeks. There are no overdue charges but patrons are
responsible for damaged or lost materials. Application forms
can be mailed out and take up to a month to process.
