This organization aims to strengthen and support families of people with disabilities by providing information, referral, training and networking opportunities. It offers workshops for parents and professionals throughout the province. It maintains a small video and book library and publishes a quarterly newsletter “Focus on Families”. Over 150 parents have been trained in communities throughout BC to act as Regional Resource Parents for their communities.
