VICTORIA NATIVE FRIENDSHIP CENTRE
220 Bay Street
Victoria, BC V9A 3K5

The Victoria Native Friendship Centre was founded in 1970 with the purpose of meeting the needs of urban Aboriginal people of the Greater Victoria area by providing them with services and information designed to enhance traditional Aboriginal values and cultures.

The Centre also promotes an appreciation for Aboriginal cultures and traditions within the Greater Victoria general population.

Today the Centre employs over thirty professional and support staff to deliver programs to Greater Victoria's 10,000 people of Aboriginal ancestry. The Centre also attributes a portion of successful programming to the support offered by a multitude of volunteers.
