AIDS Vancouver
This group assists people living with AIDS and HIV through
ensuring access to adequate nutrition, shelter and income, as
well as practical and emotional support. Educational programs
include: The Training Institute, Women’s Programs, and
Man to Man. A library is open to the public.
BC Persons with AIDS Society
This society provides referrals, advocacy, and support
services to people who are HIV positive and/or have AIDS.
Services include peer counselling, library, healing circles,
treatment information, retreats, and hospital visiting. It
also publishes a newsletter. Call collect if calling long
distance.

Positive Women’s Network
This society provides advocacy and support services to women
with HIV/AIDS, and referral to medical services. It also
publishes a monthly newsletter and a quarterly magazine.
