The Little People of British Columbia Association is a non-profit organization for individuals who, for medical reasons, are 4'10" (147 cm) or under in height. The purposes of the organization are to provide social, emotional and educational support to the membership and their families; to educate the public about short stature; to provide a medical board knowledgeable about short stature; and to act as liaison with different organizations. The Association offers a variety of services: a bi-monthly newsletter, a medical and resource library, workshops, informal activities throughout the province and an annual conference.
