The Coast Foundation Society is a non-profit organization providing housing, vocational and social opportunities for people challenged by mental illness. Job training in clerical, food preparation, janitorial and computer skills is available, and successful trainees are assisted in their job search. The Society operates a Clubhouse which offers many social and recreational opportunities as well as daily meals at a low cost. Membership in the Clubhouse is free. COAST also offers a Drop-in in downtown Vancouver and one-to-one support for clients at the East Side Rehabilitation Program.
