This association promotes the health of Canadians through
diabetes research, education, services, and advocacy.
Educates Canadians about diabetes and maintenance of health
and well-being. Runs the Diabetes Resource Centre, diabetes
summer camp for children, and the Community Clothesline
Pickup service. The Diabetes Resource Centre provides
information and referral service on diabetes information,
care and management, diet and nutrition, healthy living,
diabetes services, and community resources. Includes
telephone information lines, book and video lending library,
pamphlets, and a walk-in centre. Hours are 10 am - 3 pm
Monday - Thursday, 10 am - 1 pm Friday.
