The B.C. Schizophrenia Society (B.C.S.S.) is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 by families and friends of people with schizophrenia. Over the past decade, B.C.S.S. has grown into a province-wide family support system of close to 1500 members who are dedicated to supporting each other, educating the public, raising funds for research and advocating for better services for people with schizophrenia.
