The BC Parkinson's Disease Association was founded in 1969 in order to provide information and support services to patients, family members, friends and health care professionals in the Province. The Association has a quarterly newsletter, pamphlets, lending library, holds educational meetings, and regional conferences for the members and other interested parties. There are 42 self help/support groups which hold regular meetings.
